# Going live **Not live yet:** The API is not open on production yet. Live keys and top-ups are not live. ## Checklist 1. Your code runs end to end on the [sandbox](/get-started/sandbox/). 2. You send an `Idempotency-Key` on every POST. See [Conventions](/guides/conventions/). 3. You branch on `error.code` and handle `429` with `Retry-After`. See [Errors](/errors/). 4. Make a **first top-up** in the app. A live key needs one paid top-up. Without it, key approval answers `live_key_requires_top_up`. 5. Create a live key (`crp_live_...`) with only the scopes you need. 6. Switch your base URL to the live host and your key to the live key. ## What costs money - A posted creator video, at the store’s locked price per video. - Billed creator-data calls. **(Not live yet)** Video-production reads, dry runs and the bill preview never charge.
